The waterfront regulation proposal is part of a wider vision about connecting the green areas of Koper. The recently closed transit coastal road is now opening the space for a transformation into a park with a beach. The project anticipates green areas to enter the existing road asphalt foundation, creating a place for different contents, as well as preserving a transit zone next to the cliff. Access to the sea leads over the wide stairway, rounding the rocky mass. Main objective of these proposal is a cheap and effective realization of an attractive pedestrian connection between Koper and Izola with a park and a beach.
