The current gravel area in front of Marina Portorož becomes a new center of Lucija, and some new piers are added. The existing channel, the only visible remnants of the nowadays salt plants, is prolonged in a way to close the ring around the Portorož marina. In the channel expansions a new marina, as well as the communal piers, arise. Next to the channel is a precious centrally located area, dedicated to facilities for central activities. With the proposed regulation Lucija, at this point totally cut-off from the sea - regardless of its vicinity - regain this connection, and the new coastline becomes a new urban-recreational Lucija center.
