One of our clients had a wonderful wish to make something out of his olive tree timber he got 30 years ago. Yes, 30 years. This exceptional wood is remarkably preserved and very well dried. It was quite a struggle to find a very keen and brave carpenter to saw the planks out of this olive tree. Once we realized how good condition the timber core was we start designing.

The carpenter did a really good job here. All existing furrows are filled with black putty, the surface is finely sanded and oiled.
