When our friends from LuxSea company came by, asking for assistance in this canopy project we were very excited to begin. Our duty was to make a complete execution plan ready for production.
As the yacht hull is in aluminum material we had to consider an aluminum canopy structure in order to avoid a spontaneous oxidation process. The canopy size is about 6m x 3.5m and it is large enough to seriously consider front wind loads during speeding against the wind and waves.
The structure has two layers of frames so the air in between two black tarps work like a heat isolation layer during the summer sun.
